AN went from being the center of political life to being its nullity

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured on Thursday that by the hands of the right wing, the National Assembly “went from being the center of the political life of the country, to being its nullity.”

“Can anyone say, with rationality and arguments, that the National Assembly in the hands of the opposition, has improved and is useful for issues of work, economy and politics in the country?” questioned the Venezuelan Head of State during a press conference with national and international media, from Miraflores Palace in Caracas.

He stressed that by the hands of the right wing,  the National Assembly “sank, they disappeared from the political institutional life of the country”.

He emphasized that opposition sectors have dedicated themselves to practicing neofascist extremism, by encouraging actions that have resulted in more than 70 deaths and 1300 injuries since last April.
