President Maduro receives Minister of Energy and Energy Industries of Trinidad and Tobago

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received this Tuesday at the Miraflores Palace, located in Caracas, to the Minister of Energy and Energy Industries of Trinidad and Tobago, Stuart Richard Young.

This meeting that ratifies the commitment to the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, serves to review the bilateral relationship, fundamentally linked to the energy sector.

Young also serves as Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Keith Rowley; In his extensive career, he has served as Minister of National Security, Minister of Communications, Minister in the Office of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs.

At this meeting, the minister is accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago accredited to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Edmund Ernest Dillon, together with a delegation from Trinidad and Tobago present at the Bolivarian Government House.

In context, on August 5, 2022, the senior Trinidadian official held a meeting with the Venezuelan Head of State for the reactivation of energy cooperation and joint projects in strategic areas that have been maintained today.

The Bolivarian Government has ratified its will to strengthen the cooperation and brotherhood agreements with the neighboring Caribbean Republic for the benefit of both peoples.
