With the objective of advancing in the construction of a true Welfare State for the nation, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, ratified the commitment of the national Government to build four fundamental consensuses for the progress of the Homeland.
During the broadcast of the 13th edition of the “Con Maduro+” program, the head of state explained that the first fundamental consensus is to guarantee peace, secondly it is to condemn the criminal sanctions against Venezuela and demand from the United States Government the immediate lifting of the coercive measures against the Homeland, the third would be a great consensus for a new economic prosperity and the fourth, a plan to recover the Welfare State of the people.
To defend the peace and the union of Venezuela, based on the greatest feeling that is love for the country, love for what is ours. In this sense, the national president said that “feelings of hate cannot be allowed to infiltrate, revenge and violence in the country”.
The second consensus has to do with the unanimous condemnation of the entire Venezuelan people against criminal sanctions and to demand the United States Government to lift all the sanctions it has against the Homeland, “all of them”, emphasized the head of state.
Thirdly, a great consensus for the economic recovery of Venezuela: “The construction of a new, diversified economic model that will lead us to a new prosperity based on the production of goods and services with Venezuelan labor.”
And the fourth consensus, the recovery of the Welfare State of the people, which has to do with equality and social rights in education, health, fairer and more humane remuneration, social security, housing, recreation, contemplated in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
In this sense, President Maduro called on all Venezuelans, regardless of their partisan preferences: “to work for the four consensuses of the Venezuela of the 21st century. We are on the right side of history, let nothing and no one take us off that path, we have a people with a great conscience and a very beautiful and brilliant capacity for action”, exalted the head of state.
