COVID: Venezuela registered 28 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 28 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 10 are community cases and 18 cases came from the Dominican Republic (1), Spain (3), Panama (12), Mexico (1) and Cuba (1), all with entry through La Guaira, for a total of 546,489 confirmed cases to date.

This was announced this Tuesday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

The community cases are located in the states: Caracas (4), Zulia (3), Miranda (2), and Barinas (1).

On day 975 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,825 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 540,013 and there are 651 current active cases.
