Conviasa intensified operations of Return to the Homeland Plan

Conviasa intensified operations of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland Plan), to attend the call of thousands of Venezuelans abroad. The information was provided by General Ramón Velásquez, Vice Minister for Air Transport, through his account on the Instagram social network, @rvaguayan.

On Thursday, April 21, 2021, 80 Venezuelans returned to Venezuela from Guayaquil, Ecuador. The Vice Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, thanked Conviasa for its support and expressed that more than 20,000 Venezuelans have returned in more than 150 flights of the Venezuelan airline.

The Return to the Homeland Plan is an initiative of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, which establishes an air and land bridge for the voluntary return of all Venezuelan migrants in situations of vulnerability, aggression, exploitation and criminalization in other countries.
