The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, warned of the damages caused by the climate crisis at the present time, where humanity is facing various environmental phenomena, which have become devastating, which have been described as an irreversible stage:
“We have entered an irreversible stage of the damage caused by the climate crisis. The debate that COP27 should focus on is what humanity can do to make a qualitative leap in terms of reversing the hard blows we are experiencing”, said the head of state in his account on the Twitter social network.
Similarly, he stressed the need to take rapid and profound action to mitigate and reverse the damage of the climate crisis that threatens humanity.
