“I thank God for allowing us to celebrate today the 200th anniversary of the birth of the People’s General, Ezequiel Zamora, with the free people in Revolution,” said the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
During the events for the Bicentennial of Ezequiel Zamora, Maduro said that the Venezuelan people, guided by the values of Simón Bolívar, Ezequiel Zamora and Hugo Chavez, is prepared to remain victorious.
He took the opportunity to point out that Commander Hugo Chavez brought to this century the flags of solidarity and humanism raised by the Liberator Simón Bolívar and Ezequiel Zamora.
“I call to paint the multicolored story, with love. Yes, with love, it is the only force that can generate the commitment and the passion to face all the difficulties that our people has faced through centuries, and all the difficulties that our people is overcoming today”, said the Venezuelan Head of State.
