President Nicolás Maduro Moros received the visit of a technical group for investments from the State of Qatar.
From the Simón Bolívar Room of Miraflores Palace, the head of state welcomed this delegation of Qatari businessmen, formed to carry out activities related to economic cooperation and productive investment with Venezuela.
The meeting was accompanied by the national president, the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic and the ministers for Industry and Transport of Venezuela, along with the ambassador of Qatar in Caracas and the director of the Department of the Americas of the Arab nation.
On June 14, the Venezuelan president had the opportunity to visit the State of Qatar, where he verified the work to materialize and strengthen bilateral ties.
At the meeting with Qatari businessmen in Miraflores were reviewed the more than 20 cooperation agreements, including tourism, science and technology, and transportation, in addition to the global energy issue.
Previously, the group was received by Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, who welcomed them at the International Investment Center of Miranda state. The visit of this technical commission allows the exchange of experiences and initiatives for the Venezuela-Qatar cooperation agenda.
