Vice President meets with Colombian authorities to strengthen trade relations

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led a meeting with Colombian authorities from the Industry, Tourism and Foreign Trade sectors.

The meeting addressed the work plan to strengthen bi-national cooperation and promote commercial dynamism between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the National Customs and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello, and the Vice Minister of Foreign Trade, Johann Álvarez, who accompanied the Vice President to review the cooperation agenda.

For Colombia attended the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Germán Umaña, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Luis Felipe Quintero.

The authorities agree to strengthen the border municipalities as integration points that will not only favor Táchira state, but also the west of the country and the common border.

With this meeting, both governments express their willingness to build a new stage of bi-national relations.
