This Monday, the head of state, Nicolás Maduro Moros, sent greetings and birthday congratulations to Turkiye’s counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and told him that he awaits him in Venezuela when he makes his official visit to the country in the near future: “Erdoğan is having his birthday and I tell him: Congratulations, blessings for you and the Turkish people, and we hope sooner rather than later to continue advancing cooperation between both nations,” said the president during the “ConMaduro+” program, edition number 35, broadcast from Anzoátegui state.
The national president, in the “Media, Networks and Walls” section, commented on the international news where the Turkish president’s government stands out for the progress it is making in the pluripolar world, and recalled that during the meeting he recently held with the Turkish chancellor accredited in Caracas, Hakan Fidan, this presidential visit to Venezuela was discussed.
“This news was spread by the chancellor, with whom we reviewed the map built with Turkiye, relations of trust and affection between both peoples and governments,” said Maduro.
“I have a deep friendship with President Erdoğan. I told the chancellor: I see him as an older brother and he sees me as his brother, perhaps the youngest brother,” he recalled about the work meeting in Miraflores.
Finally, the president commented that with the business community, people and the Government of Turkiye, Venezuela increasingly solidifies the ties of work and progress.
