The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led the closing ceremony of the second edition of Expo Metal 2025, an event that brought together leading companies from the industrial, service, and mining sectors, who showcased their high productive capacity and innovation. On the occasion of this event, the head of state launched the Mining Engine.
This event, aiming to transform the industry’s vision, serving as the epicenter of great ideas, technological advances, and strategic alliances that drive the country’s sustainable future, in this edition connected industry innovations under a framework of development and sustainability, proposing a development perspective with a vision for 2030.
Expo Metal became a productive showcase, connecting industrial professionals interested in learning about the potential of products manufactured with a Venezuelan stamp by Venezuela’s vast working class. It also promoted the creation of new business opportunities to strengthen the country’s development both nationally and internationally.
With the slogan: «We are a productive power at the service of the nation!», Expo Metal was held from March 17 to 21, 2025, with the goal of consolidating Venezuela’s productive projects, all within the context of the launch of the Mining Engine. This event presented a balance sheet last Friday, highlighting the completion of more than 200 trade agreements, 2,232 business meetings, and the participation of 3,520 people, at the Caronoco Club in Ciudad Guayana.
In this way, Expo Metal 2025 has positioned itself as a key activity for strengthening the iron, steel, aluminum, services, and mining sectors in Venezuela, since its launch in 2024.
