This Monday, the Council of Sectoral Vice Presidents held the weekly meeting to evaluate and review the protection policies for the Venezuelan people.
Led by the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, the authorities evaluated various issues at the meeting, starting with the restart of classes 2022-2023, which began this October 3 in the various educational modalities and at all levels nationwide.
More than eight million students began the new school year in person, with all the health prevention measures and with the immunization days.
Likewise, they followed up on the work of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles), to maintain the pace of recovery of medical and educational facilities, which will allow reaching 100% rehabilitation of these structures throughout the country before the closure of 2022.
In other matters, they reviewed the alert and contingency actions in the face of increased rains in Venezuela, through permanent communication with governors and mayors, in order to support any contingency.
Likewise, the National Rainfalls Plan remains active and the population is urged to use the emergency telephone system, VEN911, to report any incident as a result of the damage that climatic phenomena may cause.
This is a new meeting within the Public Services Action Plan, rights in education, health, among other issues of comprehensive care for the Venezuelan population.
