COVID: Venezuela registers 491 new cases in the last 24 hours

491 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Venezuela in the last 24 hours, of which Mérida is the entity with the highest number of cases in 11 of its 23 municipalities for a total of 183 cases, followed by Monagas state with 119, Sucre with 35, Zulia with 26, Anzoátegui with 24, Caracas with 16 and Lara state with 15 cases.

8 Venezuelans died from Coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 5,258 deceases to date.

640 days after confirming the first case of Covid-19 in Venezuela, 439,935 is the total number of infections, with 428,133 recovered patients and 6,544 current active cases.

Vaccination has been accelerated in the country under instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, which is why Venezuelans are called to go to the vaccination centers without needing a prior appointment to complete their immunization process.
