President Nicolás Maduro activates the National Board for Productive Dialogue to promote joint work with industrialists

President Nicolás Maduro announced the activation of the National Board for Productive Dialogue, an instance aimed at promoting the participation of the industrial sector and as a mechanism for “reflection, study and permanent action” based on seven vertices for the economic reactivation of the country.

From the Simón Bolívar Park, located in Miranda state, he explained that the National Board for Productive Dialogue will be permanent, with specific work commissions, which facilitate “direct dialogue to tell us the truths and agree” in order to establish mechanisms for economic diversification under “a virtuous circuit of work and production”.

In a special broadcast on VTV, he explained that the seven vertices that support the National Board for Productive Dialogue are:

Productive chain

Industrial development plans

Management of statistics and indicators

National market (supply, diversification of offers and fair pricing)

Exportable offer

Appropriation and technological development

Strengthening of the national economy

In relation to the construction of the export vocation, the Head of State pointed out the need to generate new sources of alternative wealth independent of oil.

He also urged to establish the necessary mechanisms so that the entire Venezuelan industrial sector begins to build its exportable offer “with what it produces today, at least dedicate a minimum of 20% of its production to exportation,” he reiterated, while instructing to the corresponding authorities to guarantee the effective commercialization of products in the international market.
