«The United States wants to turn the issue of Venezuela into a weapon of aggression against all countries that do not accept the violation of international law,» said the representative of Venezuela in the United Nations Organization (UN), Samuel Moncada, during a report on the scope of the meeting of the Group of Friends of Respect for the United Nations Charter in the Venezuelan Mission, which was attended by 17 countries.
In this regard, Moncada stated that the Government of the United States, led by President Joe Biden, maintains a campaign against 20 countries in the world, with which it seeks to «impose its interests on governments and peoples, twisting the arm of countries of influence to make statements against Venezuela.»
At the Venezuelan Mission gathered representatives of countries that expressed their support for Palestine and rejection of unilateral coercive measures: “We are going to carry out a campaign in the international community to demand compliance with the United Nations Charter, which is the basis of international law.”
When asked about this activity, the diplomatic representative positively assessed the results of the meeting and the efforts made by this group that emerged as a proposal from Venezuela, while describing it as positive, since they hold around 20 meetings a day. It should be remembered that the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, has held numerous meetings with international delegations, in which, as part of the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, he exposed the truth about Venezuela and condemned the measures imposed against the country, since they violate international regulations.
