Executive establishes fund of Bs 10 billion for deployment of CLAP

The National Government has set up a special fund of 10 billion bolivars, intended to boost the Local Committees of Supply and Production (CLAP).
This was announced on Thursday by the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, from Miraflores Palace in Caracas, where he explained that four weeks ago he transferred to the committees 8,500 million bolivars, to serve as seed capital for the investment, purchases and encouragement of CLAP, which has given good results.
«I am now creating a fund with 10 billion for investment and movement, because we will win this war, we are in the streets defending the ideas and values of the Homeland, but we are also working in all issues in the country and this fund will come to reinforce the work of CLAP «said the Head of State.
He also stated that the method of organization of CLAP, are a creation of the revolution to overcome the economic war, to alleviate the people’s lives and stabilize the economy over the next 6 months. «These six months that are coming will be good, we will win the battle, these people will not get to impose the coup d’etat they pretend to».
