President Maduro: Venezuela is growing at an unimaginable rate after the first half of 2022

“And I can already say today, yesterday I mentioned it and I repeat it: the first half of this year Venezuela is growing at an unimaginable rate,” announced the constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

And what is growing? The economy that produces food, goods, services, and wealth”, said the Head of State from Guatire, in Miranda state, where he delivered homes and financing to peasant families from Villa Zamora 21, who were run over by the far-rightwing mayor who is facing an accusation lawsuit for violations of human rights.

The Dignitary said that supporting peasant families is an act of justice, and Venezuela is advancing despite all the blows perpetrated against Venezuelans in 2017, 18, 19, 20 and 21, with sanctions, assassination attempts, threats and a global pandemic:

None of us gave up. Dis we surrender, did we cower? What we did was to go forward and in 2021 we saw the first glimmers, just like dawn, of the growth of the real economy”, he explained.

“This is a miracle, the miracle that the Bolivarian Revolution has been sowing with love, sowing values, motivating the people, encouraging people to start producing,” he added.

To conclude, President Maduro reported that the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) will in due course offer the statistical graphs of the exceptional growth registered in the first six months of 2022:

“The first semester, a world growth record for Venezuela,” he said, ending this Thursday the working day to publicize the advances in urban agriculture, under the slogan “Fertile Land for Socialism.”
