The vice-president fpr Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, announced on Monday the installation of the Electrical Major Staff of the Southern Region, in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state.
In his speech, the high official said that the Bolivarian Government executes an action plan that has the fundamental element of the instrumentation of the national and regional Electric Major Staffs to rapidly confront any situations that may arise in the future, making the exception that the one installed today is of singular importance due to its geographical location:
“President Nicolás Maduro established an action plan at 30, 60, 90 days and one year. The fundamental instrument of implementation of this plan is the creation of the Electric Major Staffs”, said the sectoral vice president
The high official made the announcement accompanied by the Minister of People’s Power for Electric Power, Igor Gavidia, the governors of the different states of the southern region, Lizeta Hernández (Delta Amacuro), Justo Noguera (Bolívar) and Miguel Rodríguez (Amazonas), military authorities of the Redi and the Zodi of the region, in addition to the workers of Corpoelec.
These actions will serve to coordinate the real-time communication of the operation of the stations and substations throughout the Venezuelan territory, in addition to contributing to the assurance in all senses of the National Electric System (SEN).
“In addition to the installation of the Electric Major Staff of the Southern Region, there corresponds a Special Electrical General Staff in charge of permanent control of hydroelectric generation in Guri, Caruachi and Macagua”, also reported the senior official.
