Major ports in the country have high-tech equipment


Jesús Faria, People’s Power Minister for Foreign Trade and International Investment, said the main ports of the country have high-tech equipment, noting that this allow to streamline all the procedures.
“In the ports of La Guaira and Puerto Cabello, where is carried out an 80% of the import and export activities, have been installed equipments of the highest organizational technology, of quality, safe, to streamline all operations in this area. The investment amounts to 60 million dollars”.
He also noted that meetings have been held with various businessmen around the country to deal personally with their concerns in the finding of paths for exporting.
He further added that among the proposals that have been worked on, there is the launching of a credit line in dollars to purchase raw materials, and other credit line at a preferential rate in bolivars, for all those entrepreneurs, plus it is seeking to reduce administrative purposes in order that everything can develop at a faster pace.
Faria said that meetings have been held with various productive sectors not only in Caracas, but in the industrial hubs of Carabobo, Aragua states, the Guatire-Guarenas axis, and in the coming days is planned to hold other meetings in Anzoátegui, Falcón states, and in the Valles del Tuy area.
This was announced on Monday by Faría, at the closure of a meeting with the Vice President of the Republic, Aristobulo Isturiz, at Miraflores Palace.
