Vice President of the Republic confirms US decision to negotiate Venezuelan oil

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, confirmed that the United States government authorized oil companies from that country and Europe to restart oil operations in Venezuela.

Through her official account on the Twitter social network, the vice president stressed that the Venezuelan State has positively started the path towards recovery and economic growth “with its own effort, denouncing and overcoming the illegitimate sanctions and the inhumane blockade”. In addition, she stated that the Venezuelan people “feels proud of the work and achievements of recent times.”

The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela has verified and confirmed the news published to the effect that the United States of America has authorized US and European oil companies to negotiate and restart operations in Venezuela”.
