Chancellor Arreaza qualifies Trump's speech at the UN as hypocritical

Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza qualified as hypocritical the speech presented by the president of the United States (US), Donald Trump, at the 74th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).
In statements broadcast by Telesur from the UN headquarters in New York, USA, the Venezuelan Chancellor said that during his presentation, President Trump expressed his position in favor of the sovereignty and independence of the countries, however, he attacked against Venezuela and other nations that do not respond to his interests:
“He (Trump) begins to interfere in the internal affairs of the people, to violate the sacred Charter of the United Nations. Donald Trump does not respect any of the principles (…) He talked about sovereignty, and they were passing sanctions against companies in Venezuela. It’s a great hypocrisy”, expressed Arreaza.
Earlier, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), of the United States Department of the Treasury, applied sanctions against four companies that own tankers, for moving Venezuelan oil to Cuba. The four sanctioned companies are one from Cyprus, a country in the Middle East, and three from Panama. The Caroil Transport Marine Ltd. company is based in Cyprus and operates three vessels: Carlota C, Sandino and Petion.
Likewise, Chancellor Arreaza rejected Trump’s arguments aimed at defending free enterprise, because during his tenure, “a Venezuelan company like Citgo was stolen. They believe in their interests”.
On the other hand, he stressed the importance of defending the norms and bases established in the Charter of the United Nations, referring to diplomatic officials who are in the United States to participate in the UN, referring to the expulsion of two Cuban officials who were in the American nation:
“We should review (the fact that) the UN headquarters are in the US, because the host country does not respect the rules. For some reason the United Nations (headquarters) is in New York. Either they respect the Charter of the United Nations, or they should leave. and the headquarters should not be here”, he said.
