AN will install this Wednesday a commission to debate laws for the benefit of workers

The National Assembly (AN) will install a work commission this Wednesday, with the aim of debating the six special laws, which were presented to the Parliament, in order to serve the country’s workers.

The information was released by deputy Pedro Infante, in response to a request made by President Nicolás Maduro at the Labor Day events.

For his part, the President of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, urged Infante to discuss these laws immediately: “so that they can be approved before this parliamentary period ends in July, the earlier, the better”.

All Venezuelans have the right to a decent salary, a point that was not discussed during the last five parliamentary years, because this room was in darkness, however, this new AN cannot continue to be in default with the workers, therefore, Deputy Pedro Infante, do get immediately to work on these six special laws so that they can be presented and discussed with co-editor Nicolás Maduro, the National Executive, and so they can be approved before this parliamentary period ends in July, the earlier, the better”, he expressed in an ordinary session of the Assembly, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.

During his speech, Rodríguez recalled that the Organic Law of Labor, Working men and women (LOTTT) came to claim the just struggle of the working class and that it had two main co-editors who were Commander Hugo Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro.

In this regard, he stressed that this was the reason why the coercive measures imposed by the United States government (USA) sought to undermine the economic and social stability generated by the Bolivarian Revolution:

What was the purpose of those coercive measures? What was behind those measures? Why were they imposed by the greatest hegemon in the history of mankind? It was an act of mass murder, and it was aimed mainly at those who had been vindicated and favored by the Bolivarian Revolution”, stressed out the socialist leader.

This people knows who protects it, and who has attacked it for 40 years. The people knows who drafted the Organic Labor Law, which is the most revolutionary in the entire planet”, he added.

On the other hand, he stressed that the economic recovery, which took place in the country in the last year, is due to the resistance of the people, who were the ones who worked and faced the attacks by the US government:

This people knows that we are not thinking of recovering the economy so that a few ones can become richer, but that this recovery of wages of a 1,700% is a direct consequence of this resistance process that has led to a recovery of the country”, he stated.
