Maduro reiterated to the opposition: Wherever and whenever you want we’ll sit down to dialogue

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Wednesday the permanent willingness of the National Government to sit down to dialogue with the opposition sectors so that they abandon the path of invasion, aggression and the coup d’état.

During his speech during a new productive Wednesday journey, the national president revealed that “now Guaidó wants to sit down with me to dialogue. What trap will he bring? Would that be that he was given the order from the north?”.

Nevertheless he affirmed to agree “to meet wherever and whenever they want. I am ready to meet with the entire opposition to see if something good will come out, if they abandon the path of the invasion, the coup d’état, and take the electoral path”.

He also expressed that he is willing to count on the help of the European Union, the Norwegian government or the Contact Group to advance in this dialogue.

The head of State expressed his willingness when referring to statements made by Guaidó to the EFE Spanish (news) agency, in which the former opposition deputy “proposes to negotiate with the Government and advocates for the lifting of sanctions”.

“You are a wimp from the North, you piece of a leader, now it’s your turn to talk to Maduro, here we wait for you”, said Maduro.
