Head of State: Venezuela will not give up on rescuing money kidnapped abroad

“Venezuela has not given up and will not give up fighting to rescue all the money that belongs to Venezuelans, all the assets that belong to Venezuelans,” guaranteed the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, while commenting that the legal victory over the Novo Banco of Portugal, will allow the use of these resources for social investment in the Venezuelan families:

We have not renounced, nor will we renounce, and when the physical recovery of that money and other money is achieved, that will go directly to where all Venezuelans know it has to go: to guarantee the social rights of the people, to guarantee public services of all Venezuelans”, expressed verbatim the head of state, during the workday in Miraflores, where he signed decrees for the creation of four Special Economic Zones (ZEE).

He appreciated as very fair the decision of the Portuguese justice system, which agreed with the Bolivarian Government regarding the millionaire sums of money in accounts seized by the European financial institution, and which constitutes an act attached to justice and international law.

He reiterated that the world now corroborates that Venezuela will not renounce the rights, resources, assets and money that belong to it, which in many other cases have been stolen or kidnapped through absolutely unnatural decisions, contrary to international public law.

He confirmed that the Venezuelan government and people are on the right path to build a prosperous nation, with a growing economy and that wealth is invested in rights to education, free and quality public health, social security and the right to housing, which in Venezuela has made it possible to build and deliver 500,000 houses a year, despite being a blockaded, attacked country:

“So, well, we are like good boxers, who know how to defend themselves, don’t get hit and keep their guard up,” he emphasized.
