Maduro honors Yulimar Rojas for three-time world championship won this Sunday

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated Yulimar Rojas on Sunday for her historic three-time world championship won in Belgrade, Serbia, after a jump of 15.74 meters.

The head of state expressed his satisfaction and went so far as to mention that the Venezuelan achieved two feats that are recorded in history, as she is a three-time champion and holds the world record in the triple jump.

The message from the national president through the Twitter social network was as follows: “Bravo Yulimar! She conquers the World Indoor Athletics Championships, Belgrade 2022, with a Record of 15.74 m. A Three-time champion and a World Record! Two feats that are recorded in history with the name of Yulimar Rojas. From Venezuela to the World! What a pride! Congratulations!”.

Yulimar del Valle Rojas Rodríguez is a Venezuelan athlete, Olympic champion in 2021 in triple jump, with a mark of 15.67 m and three-time champion by achieving the world record of 15.74 m in her jump on an indoor track. She is also a two-time world champion in 2017 and 2019.
