More than 28 agreements for the economic recovery of Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that he had a fruitful tour through the People’s Republic of China, where 28 cooperation agreements were signed in the areas of energy, technology, education, culture, industry, agriculture and finance:

“We signed agreements in oil, to finance the growth of oil production, with a new goal that we are going to work with the visit of the president of CNPC from today, of one million barrels, there will be financing for the growth of the oil production that Venezuela needs so much, we signed agreements on mining, China with investment and technology in the production of gold”, he said.

From Miraflores Palace, in a press conference, he explained that this trip marks a new stage in China-Venezuela relations. as well as he continued counting part of the agreements between both nations; in technological matters to strengthen the basic industries, for the distribution and storage of medicines in Venezuela, in the technological update of the CANTV (National telephone company), of the Internet, as well as the building and launching of a fourth communications satellite, which will have the name of Guaicaipuro, “an ultra modern satellite”, he detailed.

The Head of State, said that the strategic relationship with the Asian country will contribute significantly to the Program of Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity that advances the National Government: “We have achieved the exact agreements that we needed for the economic boost, always under Venezuela own efforts”.

Finally he listed signed agreements in educational and cultural matters; in security and defense: “We signed agreements in the China-Venezuela Cultural Plan for four years, plus the educational exchange between both nations for the technical and specialized training of human talent, thus guaranteeing education with the highest technological quality (…) We signed agreements in security and defense matters, as well as the highest technology for the Ven-911 (emergency line) command and communications centers.
