The Vice-Minister for Small and Medium Industry and New Productive Forms, Diana Castillo, together with the authorities of various entities attached to the ministerial body, held a fruitful meeting this Wednesday with representatives of Biocubafarma, a business organization that produces medicines, equipment and high-tech services for the improvement of human health.
The meeting explored the possibilities of cooperation in the field of health, with the shared vision of establishing commercial alliances that will allow Venezuela to generate products, goods and services demanded by the Cuban pharmaceutical industry, in an exchange of shared benefit.
To this end, the efforts will be oriented to the generation of production lines, especially those of glass packaging and other supplies used in the health sector.
Likewise, the parties evaluated the possibility of expanding the bilateral cooperation map to other areas and sectors.
The authorities of Venezolana del Vidrio (Venvidrio), the Venezuelan Plastics Corporation (Coveplast) and the Corporation of Intermediate Industries of Venezuela (Corpivensa) accompanied the meeting with the Cuban delegation.
