Venezuela carries out the Mass Vaccination Plan against COVID-19 to reach the goal of 70% of immunization, as reported by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during a supervision of the System of Missions and Great Missions in the 23 de Enero parish in Caracas:
“We all have to take care of ourselves, it is a call to conscience, the main actor to avoid a rampant wave of COVID-19 infections is for us all to take care of ourselves; everyone with our masks”, urged Rodríguez.
She recalled that in the Capital District, specifically in the Caricuao parish, a case of the Delta variant was detected, which is why the people must reinforce and respect biosecurity measures:
“The Delta variant, its contagion is a multiplier in a very exponential way, and also has a characterization that increases the virus particle a thousand times in the entire respiratory system, (we must have) a lot of awareness because the Delta variant has complicated the world again and in matters of health, it is already being seen the impact on the economy”, emphasized the Executive Vice President.
She assured that despite the Criminal Economic Blockade, Venezuela has set an example of responsibility and combat against the new Coronavirus variant: “Venezuela has achieved important levels of control, but we cannot faint, we cannot claim victory, we have to continue taking care of our grandparents, our grandmothers, children and women; We all have to take care of ourselves”, urged Rodríguez.
Somos Venezuela Movement: Backbone of the well-being of the people
The Executive Vice President made an extensive call to the Somos Venezuela (We Are Venezuela) Movement to guarantee the vaccination of adults over 60 years of age in the most vulnerable communities:
“It is a task for the entire Somos Venezuela Movement throughout the national territory, we are going to look for them and take them to be vaccinated and go through the expansion stage of the Mass Vaccination Plan, the Street Chief also has to be monitoring for the measures to be met, the use of a mask and the faithful compliance with biosafety measures, it is very important, we can never tire of raising awareness to prevent COVID-19”, said Rodríguez.
Thanks to the efforts made by the Head of State Nicolás Maduro, this Love Plan for Attention to the Victims of the Economic War, jointly addresses the needs and social demands of the communities, to guarantee the care, protection and benefit of all the families victims of the economic blockade.
