President Maduro swore in the new ministers of the Executive Cabinet

The constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, swore in this Friday the new members of the executive cabinet, whom he urged to advance in the attention and resolution of the problems of our people.

From the “Néstor Kirchner” Hall of Miraflores Palace, the Head of State incorporated the eight new ministers and 2 sectoral vice-presidents, within the framework of a work journey of the Council of Ministers.

When describing the body of ministers as a “super vanguard” of work, he affirmed that in their work they must consolidate “a Government of solutions, that gets the answers to all problems and that knows the problems before they arise, that forms values ​​in our people. A Government of the people, with the people and for the people!”.

He emphasized that the incoming ministers receive a high responsibility at a time when the country is moving towards overcoming the crisis generated by the unilateral coercive actions exercised against the people of Venezuela.

President Nicolás Maduro recalled that the decision to renew the executive cabinet has been very pertinent, on the occasion of the election of some of the outgoing ministers to popularly elected positions and the electoral battle on November 21.

The new members of the Governing Council are A / J Remigio Ceballos as the new Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace and Vice President of Government for Citizen Security; Yelitze Santaella, who assumes the Ministry of People’s Power for Education; Margaud Godoy will take over at the Ministry of People’s Power for Women and Gender Equality.

Admiral William Serantes Pinto, assumes responsibility as the new Minister for Ecological Mining Development; the new Chancellor of the Republic is Mr. Félix Plasencia; Jorge Arreaza, will be the new Minister for Industries and National Production and the Minister for Sports, Mervin Maldonado, will be the new Vice President of Government for Social and Territorial Socialism.

The national president urged “to form a solid team, with a great experience acquired in all these years of struggle, with a youth that we carry in our souls”.

The Head of State stressed that some of the outgoing ministers will take on the challenge of going to the electoral contest on November 21, as is the case of A / J Carmen Meléndez, who is running for (Mayor of) Caracas and Professor Eduardo Piñate, who will be running for the Governor’s Office of Apure State.

“I thank the comrades who are going to the electoral battle (…) I already dream of the moment to go to the swearing-in of their new responsibilities”, he said.

He thanked Meléndez for his contribution to the revolutionary government, from the Ministry of Interior affairs, Justice and Peace, when confronting organized criminal gangs and the promotion of the peace quadrants, and Piñate, from the Ministry of Education, in which he took the helm after the physical departure of Professor Aristóbulo Istúriz.
