Diosdado Cabello, the First Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), spoke on Wednesday about the vandalism that took place recently in Bolivar State and the people detained by these events.
“There are 286 detained people, and there have already came out to defend them those from the Voluntad Popular and Primero Justicia (right wing parties). Here, in order to be peace there must be justice, and whoever gets arrested must be taken to (the) San Juan de Los Morros (prison), “said Cabello during the broadcast of his program “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the hammer).
Regarding these events, he added: “They looted 20 liquor stores and lottery agencies; What did they had to take from there?” He asked.
He pointed out that, although the opposition has intentions to promote violence in the country, peace has reigned with the union of the Revolutionary forces.
“Today we can say that not only Bolivar state, but the whole Venezuela is in absolute peace and tranquility,” he said.
