President Nicolás Maduro urges governors to refine sociopolitical 1 x 10 scheme to improve government management

The National Executive will implement, in coordination with the governments and mayors of the entire country, the figure of the sociopolitical and governmental 1 × 10 scheme to improve government management, and provide a solution to the demands of the people throughout the national territory.

This was detailed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the first session of the Workshop for Good Government, an initiative of the National Executive with the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) installed this Wednesday in Caracas:

“We must change everything, it is a new era and we must change our methods of articulating with the people, making decisions and governing to bring about the great changes that Venezuela needs”, he said.

In this sense, Maduro indicated that based on this new scheme, qualitative reports should be received in the Presidential command room, three times a day, of the “1 × 10 of Good Government” that will function in a structure defined in seven tables of work, to review, among other issues, government plans and priorities to provide solutions to the problems of the people.

He pointed out that in each governorate, mayor’s office and Bolívar-Chávez Battle Unit (UBCH), a command post linked to the sociopolitical and governmental 1 × 10 must function: “The goal is to have a perfect coordination to govern by listening to the people”, he emphasized.

Likewise, he urged the resumption of concrete action agendas at each level of government and asked not to make individualistic decisions in the formation of regional and local cabinets:

Designated officials cannot detach themselves from the streets and communities, they must be with the people and look for solutions in each Municipality and State (…) (you must be) very careful (with) who you are appointing, many times they are personalistic designations, without consultation, (sometimes) even are appointed relatives, these officials become the worst wall against the needs of the people”, he emphasized.

Earlier, the workshop between the national Executive and leaders of the PSUV was installed with the presence of the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and the first vice president of the party, Diosdado Cabello, a working day that will last for two days to plan, together with the sectoral vice presidents and Cabinet ministers, the priority management issues as of January 1, 2022.
