Maduro announced the installation of 5 industrial mills in the country


The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, said that the Government plans to multiply the popular mills and thus raise, in the short-term, up to five thousand units of this kind, active throughout the country.
In this regard he called for, in the short-term, to conform more than 5,000 communal wood workshops in the neighborhoods, in order to combat speculative prices of the market.
He further stressed that will ensure the resources in bolivars and dollars for the installation of five industrial “brand new”mills and a paper pulp plant in order to generate paper for the domestic market and also to export and place paper in the international market. This paper pulp plant could produce 100 tons for domestic consumption and 100 tons for export.
“Forget about those who are thinking about privatization, forget about capitalism, because what is coming here is more socialism”, said the Head of State.
On the other hand, he announced that it will be approved for next week the resources in bolivars and dollars for building the largest paper pulp plant in South America, in order to ensure the raw material for the production of printing paper, notebooks and other derivatives.
In addition, Yan Urdaneta, president of Maderas del Orinoco, said that Bolivar state has 480,000 hectares of the world’s largest forestry, where there is a planting of 480 million trees of different species (pine, acacia, eucalyptus and native species).
This was stated during the activation ceremony of the engine of Basic, Strategic and Socialist Industries held in Monagas state, on Thursday.
