Congress of the New Era brings together 43 social movements in the country

From the Generalísimo Francisco de Mirada Park, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro led a work journey with the social movements and organized communities of the country, for the defense of Guayana Esequiba; He also celebrated his 61st birthday with grassroots leaders strategies for the comprehensive defense of the nation.

The head of state highlighted that from 2022, he convened the Congress of the New Era for the transition to socialism, as an instance to encourage the participation of Venezuelans in the face of imperialist aggression and sanctions against the homeland, where more than 1,800 assemblies, calls, consultations, debates, which gave great results, among them the formation of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health; and the formation of the 1×10 System to respond to the needs of the population.

In that sense, he highlighted that to date the Congress of the New Era for the transition to socialism groups 43 Social Movements of the cultural diversity of the political and social life of Venezuela, and a total of 264 national, sectoral, regional and parochial columns: “It is the people who have organized and empowered themselves for a single mission, to turn Venezuela into a power,” said the head of state.

“We are working to make the Revolution irreversible, and to say to Simón Bolívar in the year 2030: Liberator, 200 years later, here is your cradle, here is your land, here is your homeland, made into a powerful, independent, sovereign Venezuela, in peace, democratic and socialist,” said President Maduro.
