In the last 24 hours, 1,188 new Covid infections were detected in the country: 1,187 by community transmission and 1 imported case. Zulia state reported the highest number of new community cases (208), with active infections in 11 municipalities; followed by states Mérida (199 cases) and Yaracuy (161 cases).
The general statistics in Venezuela are currently as follows:

17 Venezuelans died in the last hours due to the virus. On behalf of President @NicolasMaduro we express words of condolences to their families and close ones.
It is important to note that on Monday the 17th, on a @LAConviasa flight, 25 tons of medicines and supplies from China arrived in the country, thanks to the air bridge between the two nations.
