The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, stated that before the end of 2024, Venezuela will hold the third Great National Popular Consultation, to select the projects of the communes and communal councils in all the communal circuits of the country.
In this sense, the head of State called on the revolutionary youth to massify and build Youth Committees in the 4,530 Communal Circuits that exist throughout the country, in order to contribute to the healthy use of the values of the Venezuelan youth:
«The objective is to raise a project for youth, in order to give them a boost to the needs of this productive sector of society,» said the national president.
He asked the people to advance towards the third National Public Consultation, so that they can choose their main projects to make them viable through the national budget: “In this third consultation, projects linked to youth will have a special priority,” emphasized President Maduro.
“They (the opposition) are looking for youth to go out and burn, to kill, we are looking for youth for life, for the great things, for the beautiful things,” said the head of State.
President Maduro also commented that 40 percent of the projects approved on April 21 are completed, and he also detailed that the national government expects that in two years at most there will be more than 5,000 communes in Venezuela.
