The National Assembly approved an agreement to support the implementation of the Constitutional Anti-Blockade Law for National Development and the Guarantee of Human Rights.
During the ordinary session, corresponding to this Thursday, May 13, 2021, the President of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted the capacity the people and the government have had to resist imperial aggressions for so long.
Rodríguez explained that “With the Anti-Blockade Constitutional Law, bold, innovative and agile measures will be used, but they also pursue the same spirit of careful protection and compensation to the people of Venezuela, for everything that has been denied to us for decades”.
Regarding the dialogue, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, affirmed that “yes, yes to dialogue, but one without amnesia. It is not that they are going to come to ask for negotiation without returning what was stolen, Citgo, Monómeros; and whoever wants dialogue has to begin by acknowledging, not only that he was wrong, but that he committed crimes against the entire people of Venezuela”, he sentenced.
He affirmed that once the moment has come in which any dialogue process is undertaken, of the hundreds of times that it has been convened, each one must assume their responsibility and the commitment that someone who claims to be Venezuelan, never again requests for a military intervention against the Venezuelan people.
