Venezuela strengthens prevention and care mechanisms in the face of the second wave of Covid-19 infections

This Sunday, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, urged the Venezuelan people to take care of the second wave of infections that is registered in the country as a result of the Brazilian P1 and P2 variants. After ending the flexibilization week as part of the Venezuelan 7 + 7 scheme to contain COVID-19

In this sense, the Venezuelan President warned that the plateau is very high and is above a thousand cases: “It is very high for what the trend has been in Venezuela,” so he called for work to be done to achieve the method that allows to reduce this plateau and advance to polish the preventive mechanisms.

Likewise, he called on the country’s health personnel and the workers of Mission Barrio Adentro, to renew their energies and their strength, the love for the people and to keep in high the house by house visiting Brigades, to the communities, the care to the people.

To close, he emphasized that “We must maintain warm and loving care in all CDIs.”
