This Thursday, President Nicolás Maduro sent a welcome message to the year 2017 through his accounts on the Twitter and Facebook social networks, calling on all Venezuelans to work for the nation and auguring new victories.
On Facebook he wrote a message accompanied by a video:
“We started the work of this year 2017 from the Mountain Headquarters, paying homage to Commander Hugo Chavez, to assume the commitment to consolidate the revolutionary counter-offensive, for the definitive victory of the people. As part of the activation of the Carabobo Agenda, we announced the relaunching of the National Economy Council, with the widest participation for the productive dialogue among all sectors.
In addition, we announced the renewal of the Executive Cabinet, with the incorporation of several companions to the different portfolios, and the appointment of Tareck El Aissami as the new Executive Vice President of the Republic, for the optimization of the State and Government Management, in this new Stage of strengthening of the People’s Power and the Street Government.
