Head of State: We do not need a license to grow

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, rejected the sanctions imposed by the United States and stated that these do not affect the country’s efforts to build a new productive economic model: “We do not need a license to grow, to work, we are not slaves, at what point did we become a gringo colony? Venezuela produces with its own hands.”

Regarding the inauguration of the First Expovenezuela Produce 2024 Meeting, the national leader highlighted that, “there is no sanction, there is no threat that today will harm the effort to build a productive economic model, we only depend on our work and the union what we have”. Likewise, he asserted that the country’s opposition sectors continue to request sanctions by the United States Government against the Bolivarian nation.

The head of state highlighted that, despite the conspiracies and threats, the Venezuelan Government has focused on working and sowing hope for the future of the country: “While they were plotting, we were working, sowing ideas, sowing dreams, sowing hope, sowing plans.”

In that sense, the Constitutional president highlighted Venezuela’s resilience in the face of adversity. “There will be no sanctions, no threats, no conspiracies, no corrupt people, no traitors, able to defeat us. Nobody has been able, nor will anyone be able to defeat Venezuela. “Venezuela is going onward!”

On the other hand, he referred to the lack of recognition towards Juan Guaidó, “no one calls him president now.” Finally, he invited those who doubt or do not believe in Venezuela’s potential to visit the ExpoVenezuela Produce fair in Araure, to witness the country’s rebirth.
