COVID: Venezuela registers 56 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 56 new cases of COVID-19, of which two came from Panama and Turkey, were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, bringing the confirmed cumulative total to 523,710 cases.

The community cases registered today are located in states Zulia (18), Bolívar (9), Amazonas (7), Miranda (6), Caracas (6), Yaracuy (5), Mérida (2) and Nueva Esparta (1).

This was announced this Wednesday by the Sectoral Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account in the Twitter social network.

On day 808 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, with the death of a person in the last hours of today, the country records the figure of 5,722 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 516,967 and there are 1,021 current active cases.
