1,000 militiamen will join in the work of attention to the people in Apure

A total of 1,000 militiamen will be deployed to carry out support and social care tasks in the communities of Apure state, as reported on Tuesday the general commander of the Bolivarian National Militia, M / G Manuel Bernal Martínez.

During the commemorative acts of the 12^th Anniversary of the Bolivarian National Militia, carried out in the “Cuartel de la Montaña” (Mountain Barracks), in Caracas, led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, M / G Bernal Martínez emphasized that this action is part of the Plan instructed to ensure respect for the sovereignty and integrity of the national territory in said entity, under attack by criminal groups from Colombia.

“We must exercise the power that Chávez gave us. In Venezuela soldier and people, people and soldier we are an example of dignity in the world, humbly. People’s Power must grow more and more”, he indicated.

For his part, the Operational Strategic Commander, A / J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, reiterated that the FANB works 24 hours a day to guarantee peace and sovereignty in the border area of ​Apure state, where Colombian irregular groups have been detected.

He stressed that the State security agencies have control of the territory and have restored internal order in the area, to guarantee the human rights of the people of Apure.

In this sense, the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the FANB, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated the order of zero tolerance against Colombian irregular groups. “All the force, with the constitution in hand, the people and the Armed Forces, at this time the order is war of all the people in defense of sovereignty against criminal groups, terrorists who come from Colombia”, he sentenced.

The head of State insisted that what happened in Apure “is an attempt by the Southern Command and the Colombian drug trafficking oligarchy to bring groups disguised as guerrillas into our territory, to intimidate the population, to introduce the drug trafficking routes of Uribe and Iván Duque and then move towards the center of the country ”.
