The Chairmanship of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) will be under the baton of Diosdado Cabello, who was unanimously chosen for the post.

The appointment of Cabello as president of the plenipotentiary body arises after the granting in recent days, by this body, of an authorization to Delcy Rodriguez to fulfill duties as Vice President of the Republic, by appointment of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
