President Maduro calls on private companies to join Mision Sonrisa

The Misión Sonrisa (Smile Mission) will be expanded with the incorporation of dentists and professionals in private practice, according to the proposal and request made by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, for the integral care of all Venezuelans, but especially with priority to grandparents, pregnant women and children:

We are thinking of calling on you, clinics, offices, private dentists, to call on you to join Mision Sonrisa in a loving, supportive and Christian manner,” urged the head of state from Yaracuy state, where he presided over a work journey of the Community Military Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles).

He commented that social responsibility among everyone to shoulder the burdens together is a real and effective possibility: “On my own I am advancing, but how much could I advance if those who practice dentistry privately, which I am sure they want to do, can contribute through social responsibility, and I give them their benefits!”

I call on governors, mayors and mayoresses, sole health authorities of all the states plus Caracas, to immediately call on private clinics, offices, dental movements and in an embrace of solidarity join Mision Sonrisa. I hope you send me proposals to support the people,” he concluded.
