Venezuela reiterates willingness to maintain constructive and respectful relations with Spain

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterated on Monday its willingness to maintain constructive and respectful relations with Spain.

This was expressed by the Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, during a meeting with the Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean, Cristina Gallach Figueras, held at the Casa Amarilla (Yellow House – Seat of the Venezuelan Chancellory).

Gallach Figueras has been in the country since Sunday night to fulfill a work agenda in the country in which she is also scheduled to meet with the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

The diplomat of the Kingdom of Spain is interested in learning about the humanitarian response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in supporting the national dialogue promoted by the Bolivarian Government.
