Minimum salary is placed at 18,000 sovereign bolivars from January 15


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported on Monday that the minimum wage will go from 4,500 to 18,000 sovereign bolivars as of January 15.
The Petro also had an adjustment, from 9,000 sovereign bolivars to 36,000 sovereign bolivars.
The national chief exhorted the ANC to elect three members of that body so that, starting on January 15 will participate with the public authorities in the negotiation mechanisms and agreed price fixing of the products to be fulfilled in the national territory, with the purpose of protecting the purchasing power of Venezuelans.
