The sectoral vice president for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace and Minister of People’s Power for Defense, G / J Vladimir Padrino López, affirmed that Venezuela stands to guarantee stability, independence and territorial integrity, in the face of any aggression to the Venezuelan territory that is promote from Colombia, so the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is deployed in defense of sovereignty.
Through a statement, General in Chief Padrino López denounced the conspiratorial plans against the Republic generated by the government of Iván Duque. He stressed that on January 31 they were preparing a new terrorist act to attack the National Assembly (AN):
“A fact that adds to the long list of attacks sponsored by the New Granadean administration, which behaves like a large paramilitary camp that threatens the entire region and its own citizens,” he repudiated.
Faced with the denounces made by Duque in recent days, he responded that the Bolivarian Government has only intervened in the conflict in that country as a mediator, at the request of the Colombian Government itself, in order to seek a peaceful solution between the parties.
“As part of this titanic effort, it has established the pertinent contacts with both parties, respecting at all times the principle of self-determination of the peoples and the norms of international law,” the text said.
At the same time, the Venezuelan Minister for Defense denounced that the government of Iván Duque has decided to become a permanent center of conspiracy against the country. “From there, a continuous and blatant interference has been organized, atrocious assassination attempts and armed incursions on the Venezuelan coasts under mercenary contracts; the latter, precisely at a time when international bodies were calling for a cessation of hostilities due to COVID-19 ”.
Regarding the formation of anti-narcotics teams in Colombia, the General-in-Chief asserted that it is obvious that Duque is trying to shovel the scolding of the new US president, Joe Biden, who when comparing the statistics, found a huge balance in terms of the increase of drug trafficking and cultivation, for which he demanded a proportional relationship to the contributions and aid from Washington, in contrast to the abysmal tolerance and manifest permissiveness.
He also denounced before the international community, the vile action of the National Intelligence Directorate of Colombia, which in coordination with the CIA and DEA, tries to capture, through bribes and threats, our military professionals, in search of information on the level operational readiness, as well as to subtract or disable strategic weapons systems, equipment, parts and spare parts; attempts that have been unsuccessful due to their high morals, dignity and patriotism, coupled with an effective military counterintelligence system. This modus operandi has left deep wounds in the brotherhood that has existed between the two peoples and their institutions for centuries.

“In recent days we have been able to appreciate a series of communication events, generated by the Colombian government to try to dilute the complaint that was made on January 31 of the current days, regarding the plan for a new terrorist act orchestrated from Colombia, in this occasion, against the Venezuelan Parliament; This fact adds to the long list of aggressions sponsored by the New Granada administration, which behaves like a large paramilitary camp that threatens the entire region and its own citizens, like a failed State. After the denunciation, the Reuters agency and the Semana magazine published tendentiously false information and reports on the alleged presence of dissident groups of the FARC and the ELN in our territory. Simultaneously and in a group, Iván Duque made reference to the creation of elite units, as if they had never existed, to combat these groups.
At the same time, took the opportunity to report in a cretinous and silly way, the organization of anti-narcotics teams. They intend to erase the suffering of seventy years of a bloody war, in which they have historically failed, even with the ostentatious financial, logistical and military support of the first world power; and that due to their disability, they have always wanted to project to Venezuelan territory. It should be remembered that this armed conflict has its origin in the inequality and injustice practiced by that dominant oligarchy, systematically violating human rights, apparently, almost with constitutional status, since impunity reigns; This situation will undoubtedly worsen in a short time, since the objective variables of that civil war remain intact.
It should be clarified that Venezuela has only intervened in that conflict as a mediator, at the request of the Colombian government itself, with the sole purpose of supporting the search for a peaceful solution; and as part of this titanic effort, it has established the pertinent contacts with both parties, respecting at all times the principle of self-determination of peoples and the norms of international law.

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces ratifies the world categorically, that under no circumstances does it support or tolerate the presence of armed groups in the Venezuelan geographic space, whatever its nature or nationality. In this sense, fulfilling the precise orders of our Commander in Chief, citizen Nicolás Maduro Moros, Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, those who are detected will be neutralized or expelled. To this end, the Operational Strategic Command has been permanently executing the “Bolivarian Shield” operation, in order to combat and eradicate transnational crimes of drug trafficking, paramilitarism, smuggling, illegal mining or other criminal activities.
Finally, it is important to make it clear to Iván Duque that we are not going to fall into provocations or deceptions, because we know well his dark trajectory in the construction of false positives. But may he be absolutely certain that any attempt to violate our territorial integrity, whether conventional or covert, will have a forceful reaction, as it has been until today.
