Twitter suspended accounts of Bolivarians because they are expression of truth

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that the  Twitter communications company suspended on Saturday the accounts of several revolutionary social leaders and public entities.

During a meeting with the militants of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) of the central region, the National Leader said that this attack is due to the accounts that are with the revolutionary process “are the voice of truth”, and they achieve to dismantle the media war that the Venezuelan right wing is undertaking with the purpose of obtaining a foreign intervention in the country.

“Twitter Venezuela is afraid of us, such is the freedom of expression they preach, of course social networks are not regulated by anything nor anyone. They enter the countries, do and undo”, said the Head of State, while urging to denounce the persecution of the revolution and this communication attack through Twitter.

“If they cut us off a thousand accounts, we will open 10,000 more accounts with the youth and the revolutionary force of public opinion for truth”, he emphasized.

He emphasized that the battle in social networks is very important at this moment, and for that reason the right wing uses it for the permanent psychological war against the Homeland. He added that in the past the instruments of destabilization were the media, especially the television stations.

“The instruments of the coup d’ etat of that time were the Television stations, there were no social networks back then. We witnessed, from October 2001 to April 2002, a permanent network of all the television stations broadcasting live all the coup d’ etat actions, as well as offenses against President Hugo Chavez, but they could not defeat our people, the Bolivarian Revolution”, he recalled. .

Finally, the Head of State urged the National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel) to take actions against any radio stations that promote internal war.
