Diosdado Cabello: The Day of National Dignity vindicates the Bolivarian Revolution and the right of the people to live in peace, sovereignty, freedom

We must honor those men and women who on February 4, with absolute detachment, left everything for the freedom of the people, we put our lives before anything else, every February 4 we are the same soldiers who accompany Commander Chávez. Today we vindicate the Bolivarian Revolution and the right of the people to live in peace, sovereignty, freedom”, said deputy and 4F hero Diosdado Cabello on Thursday.

He expressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) changed forever and the civic-military union is an example of what was achieved that day: “We rose up against the imperialism that ruled, therefore our uprising was to change destiny and awakening of a homeland. This date should be to remember that we change the destiny of a country, today we are many, today we have many soldiers who have joined the Bolivarian and Chavista spirit”.

From the Cuartel de la Montaña (Mountain Barracks), honors were paid to the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Commander Hugo Chávez, in the presence of those who were present on February 4, 1992, to commemorate 29 years of National Dignity Day, an occasion in which Cabello stated “We have complied. The future of the country is built by us Venezuelans ourselves and we see that daily, when we see a people that resists the sanctions of an empire every day”.

For his part, deputy José Gregorio Vielma Mora highlighted that on February 4, history turned to a country that seeks peace and prosperity for the people: “We cannot forget the courage of the men who were there that day, those words “For Now” became our battle cry and our conviction of victory.”

Likewise, he pointed out that the Revolution has its own history and is still written by the hand of President Nicolás Maduro, we have faced constant risks and supreme dangers but here we are and here we continue to stand “defending a legacy left by Commander Hugo Chávez, of freedom, stability and peace”.

Vielma Mora exhorted the people not to waver from the objectives of the Revolution, this time with the aim of promoting national production with a communal organization that enforces the leading participation of the people.

The attempt on February 4, 1992 marked history in the Independence and Sovereignty of Venezuela, beginning the transformation and vindication of the People to create awareness in the majority.
