Venezuela registers 441 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, of which 361 are community cases and 80 cases imported from Colombia in their entirety, as reported the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez.

Through her account on the Twitter social network, the vice president highlighted that the entity with the highest number of infections this Thursday is the Carabobo state (102), “with active infections in 10 municipalities; followed by states Yaracuy (65) and Táchira (42).”

Regarding the general statistics, she emphasized that to date a total of 93,921 infections have been registered in the national territory, of which 88,701 are patients who have been successfully recovered, representing a recovery rate of 94%.

Regarding the 4,401 active cases, she pointed out that 2,792 are being treated in hospitals, 1,380 in Integral Diagnostic Centers and 49 in private clinics.

In turn, he regretted the death of 5 Venezuelans due to the virus: two men aged 48 and 49 years in Táchira state, a 72-year-old woman in Anzoátegui state, a 65-year-old man in the Capital District, an 80-year-old man in Mérida state, for a total of 819 deceases since the pandemic began.

Finally, she highlighted the hard work of President Nicolás Maduro who “works tirelessly in the fight against the virus in our territory.”

She also highlighted the work of Mission Venezuela Bella, which “to date has carried out more than 3,750,000 disinfections throughout the country, to continue guaranteeing the protection of the Venezuelan people,” wrote Rodríguez.
