CNE will conduct two more audits this week

The National Electoral Council’s main rector, Socorro Hernández, asserted that the CNE will conduct two more audits this week in order to demonstrate the transparency of the electoral body. These statements were announced during the program “El La Palestra” (On the Board), broadcast by RNV.

She stressed that they attended the session of the National Constituent Assembly, not only to deliver the report that corresponds to the elections of October 15 where the revolutionary forces reached 18 Governorates, but to demonstrate the invulnerability of the system that is qualified as the most reliable on the planet .

“We guarantee the people that it is a transparent process, in peace and the country should be proud, it is an impeccable process, on the CNE website  http://www.cne.gob.ve/web/index.php you can see all the audits that were done before, during and after the last elections, as well as the signatures of those who participated”.

She stressed that 21 organizations, such as auditors and observers, were invited to participate in the entire process of last Sunday

Hernández stated that until now the CNE has not received any allegations of fraud, only that in the media by some Venezuelan opposition spokesmen, and thus made the invitation to all people who want to make some kind of complaint, to go to the headquarters of the electoral power to formalize them with the evidence of the complaint that will be made.

She recalled the reason why some voting centers were relocated was because of the incidence of violence, as well as some principals from school who did not allowed these schools to be voting centers in the elections for the National Constituent Assembly, the reasons being that schools which could not be available for any elections were to be relocated, as she said.
